Grounded in the work.
Focused on the opportunity.
Bob’s career began in hourly, entry-level airport positions. Through hands-on work and a deep understanding of the industry, he progressed to senior executive leadership. That perspective still informs his approach: a successful strategy must work for the people who put it into practice every day.
His career includes significant development roles with Marriott and HMSHost, and executive leadership positions with Delaware North Companies, SSP America, and SSP Canada.
Having worked in more than 30 countries, Bob brings an international perspective grounded in extensive North American experience. He understands how to integrate national and local brands into an airport while balancing brand standards, passenger expectations, and operational requirements.
Bob’s expertise includes contract negotiations with brands and airport authorities, government structures, stakeholder relationships, procurement processes, and the business models that underpin airport concessions.
Today, Stanton Advisors brings that experience to airports and their commercial partners, with practical guidance that connects people, brands, space, and long-term performance.
For airports, operators, brands, and travelers, the best outcome comes from a concessions strategy that brings their interests together.
